
Join us for an epic off-roading adventure in Death Valley!
We’ll explore the stunning Titus Canyon, Leadfield Ghost Town, and more on November 16-17, 2024. Starting from Barstow, we’ll head to scenic stops like Rainbow Basin and Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge before camping and charging in Beatty, NV, at the Death Valley RV Park. The RV park charges a $45 fee per vehicle, payable on arrival. Would you prefer a hotel? The Death Valley Inn is right next door (not to be confused with “The Inn at Death Valley”!).
This is an easy off-roading trip with plenty of photo ops, light trails, and fascinating sights. Don’t miss out on this exciting weekend getaway!

Detailed Itinerary:
Saturday, November 16th
Meeting Point: Barstow EV Chargers
- 8:00 AM: Group meets at Barstow EV chargers for brief introductions and pre-trip briefing.
- 8:30 AM: Depart for Rainbow Basin Natural Area.
Rainbow Basin Natural Area
- 9:00 AM: Arrive and explore the scenic loop trail, take photos, and enjoy the unique geological formations.
- 10:30 AM: Depart for Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge.
Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge
- 12:00 PM: Arrive and explore points of interest like Crystal Reservoir and Devils Hole. Enjoy a packed lunch or picnic in the area.
- 3:00 PM: Depart for Beatty, NV.
Beatty, NV
- 4:00 PM: Arrive and check into the Death Valley RV Park in Beatty, NV , where we will charge our vehicles and camp for the night. If you prefer, the Death Valley Inn is located next to the RV park and offers rooms for those who don’t wish to camp.
- Evening: Relax, charge vehicles, and enjoy the evening in Beatty.
Sunday, November 17th
Depart for Titus Canyon
- 8:00 AM: Depart Beatty RV park.
- 8:30 AM: Arrive at the start of the Titus Canyon Road.
Titus Canyon Exploration
- 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM: Visit highlights, including Titanothere Canyon, Red Pass, Leadfield Ghost Town, petroglyphs, and the narrow canyon sections, with plenty of time for exploration and photography.
Return Trip
- 2:00 PM: Begin the return journey, allowing for additional stops as needed.
